Last month marked the inaugural Games for Change Australia and New Zealand Conference at the RMIT University Design Hub in Melbourne. Held over two days the conference brought together people from all different industries and backgrounds to share their experiences, projects and ideologies about games and gaming.
The program of the conference consisted of both national and international speakers, with some of the Knowledge Quest crew, lucky enough to get a spot to present. Represented by Anna Goldfeder from Jacaranda and Michael Woods from Media Saints, the talk focussed on the 10 lessons learnt from developing educational games, giving an insight into the challenges faced when the creative and corporate worlds come together to work on a project.
Take a look at our full talk below. A more detailed summary of the Games for Change conference will be up shortly.
