New marketing textbook for UNI students

Marketing 3rd EditioMarketing, 3rd Edition is out and is a new and improved version. It is designed for marketing students in first year. The concepts in this new edition are stated in such a way that understanding and following them is easy. The 3rd Edition is an improvement over its previous version because regional case studies have been used by the authors. This has been done for illustrating the importance and relevance of various important marketing topics that a first year student comes across in class.

An interactive study system is the basis of the Marketing 3rd Edition. This is achieved with the help of interactive modules and local videos. The knowledge of the students is tested through these modules and understanding the concepts becomes easier. An interactive study aid, popularly known as iStudy, is extremely helpful to students and is supported on a variety of Operating Systems. Through iStudy’s new improved e-text, more than 70 videos and interactive modules can be accessed. Spotlights are colour coded and real world examples are used in every applied question, accompanying them. The spotlight highlights the learning objective.

For students requiring in depth analysis, case studies are provided at the end of chapters. These case studies are clearly and compartmentally stated out to make it easier for students to follow and understand. They also focus on the interactive nature of the 3rd Edition. Students have been introduced to plan activity. This encourages them to choose a product and progressively develop a marketing plan for it. This step can be done with the help of activities which are provided at the end of all chapters. For reference purposes, the back of the text contains a real example illustrating a plan for students to get an actual feel of real world situations.
